My brothers in Christ, The 2x2 Quartet

It is with a very heavy heart that I sit down to write this letter. Over the
past 3 years, I have come to know and love you all so much.  We have
seen many wonderful things that God has done.  He has led us and
guided us and allowed us to travel and minister together.  I do not
regret one single minute or one mile that we have traveled together.
As you all know, God called me to preach and I accepted that call when I
was 13 years old. I thank God for the doors that were opened for me to
both sing and preach during our time together. I have been receiving
more and more invitations to preach as of late.  Over the last few
months God has began to burden my heart more and more to spend
more time preaching and accepting those invitations to share God's
word from the pulpit, as well as spend more time in my home church and
more time with my family.

It is at this point that I believe it would be God's will for the 2x2 Quartet
to continue traveling without me as the tenor singer.  I know that God
has wonderful things in store for us all, and I certainly want to remain in
the place that I believe he would have me be.  To Jeff, my brother, what
can I say except thank you for being there for me, and for being one of
the best friends I have ever had.  To Jon, just keep smiling.  Your smile,
your attitude and your anointed voice have always been a blessing to
me.  To Daniel, definitely I will miss you.  You have improved more and
more since we started, and you got better every time we stood on stage
to me. It was an honor to share the stage and sing with you.

To Joe & Brian, thanks guys for just being there to work for the Lord,
and do whatever you could to help us stay on the road.  To Johnny &
Glenda, ( Dad & Mom), your support and prayers sometimes went
unnoticed down here, but one day God will reward your faithfulness
with eternal rewards in Heaven.

I want to close by saying that I leave this group in what I consider to be
God's will for my life at this time.  If God should ever lead our paths to
join together again someday, I will not hesitate to jump right in and go
forward together.  I also hope and pray that should you ever need a
"FILL IN" that you do not hesitate to let me know, I'd be there at a
moments notice if possible. Just because I will not be standing there in
person, does not mean that I wont be with you.  My spirit and my prayers
go with you all from this moment forward.  Also know that as you stand
to sing, I will be on my knees asking God to send his blessings upon
you.  Please express to all the "fans" and friends that we have made,
that I love them all, and I will certainly miss them.

Thank you again for the wonderful ministry and times we spent
together.  I look forward to what God has in store, please keep me in
your prayers as I start down this new path working for the Lord.

God Bless you all,
Love in Christ
Stephen
